I believe that God through the Holy Spirit himself is the source of spiritual gifts and satisfaction, rather than some spiritual experience. We should begin with truth from the words of God and not experiences or testimony. John 8:31-32 explains this to us very clearly.
If ye continue in my word, then are ye my disciples indeed;
And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.
It is not the experience of something that will set us free, but God’s truth.
